After coding a lot in OpenFrameworks (C++) to construct realtime computing software, I&#8217;ve been getting more interested to use Houdini&#8217;s Vex language (C) for any visual coding projects that do not require realtime computation. This allows me to use Houdini&#8217;s amazing workflow and Mantra rendering engine for realistic rendering capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These try-outs are my first explorations into using Houdini. All of the projects include some form of Vex scripting.
